Lucidly app for iPhone and iPad

Lucidly will collect health readings while you are sleeping via the watch. The readings are evaluated using artificial intelligence to determine when you have entered rapid eye movement (REM) of your sleep cycle. When REM is detected, the watch will alert you by triggering haptic signals. Lucidly is the first and only application that specifically targets this phase of the sleep cycle using health readings, machine learning, and auto shut-off haptic signaling. The application can be used to support various lucid dreaming induction techniques, and is available in two modes: Inference (REM detection and alerts), and hypnagogic (periodic haptics for sleep entry).

Lucidly integrates with Apples health kit for functionality. Authorization is required to communicate with the Health App Store to read and write data. REM determination is performed real-time by pre-trained neural networks while the application is in session and the user is asleep. REM inference is an approximation, with a model accuracy of 88% (REM stage Recall .94, Precision .75). Lucidly offers the ability to adjust various settings to customize your experience.
